Structural Engineering

Residential 1, 2, 3, Commercial 1, 2, 3, Industrial and infrastructure incl. PS1, PS2, PS4 and Project Management, independent tender/bid assessment and management. Retaining wall design incl. timber, reinforced concrete and steel. Seismic Assessments (ISA, DSA) and structural investigations for owners, council after natural disasters. Previous experience as ‘expert witness’ for court case. Pre-pour inspections of floor slabs, retaining walls, and concrete foundations. Inspection of timber, steel and concrete wall/framing, worksover inspection for bridging piles etc., and temporary works design incl. propping, scaffolding and retaining walls.

Mechanical Engineering

Design, Repair and Modifications of heavy mechanical equipment incl. cranes, hoists, winches, lifting beams, elevated work platforms, access walkways, and aircraft passenger boarding bridges, forklift equipment, port equipment (e.g. reach stackers, container handlers etc.). Container modifications, airport cargo handling equipment (transfer trolleys etc.). We can design any mechanical plant based on relevant standards. Investigation report(s) for WORKSAFE.

Road Design incl. local streets, arterial routes, intersections, accessways and subdivision roads. From geometric design (long/cross section), pavement design, signage and linemarking and traffic safety assessments to construction monitoring.

Design and construction monitoring of stormwater networks incl. hydraulic, hydrological design, asset renewal and upgrades, water sensitive urban design and catchment-wide management strategy. 1D/2D Flood modelling and assessment using industry-leading software (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS & TuFLOW); overland flow path and ponding assessment. Flood hazard mapping e.g. council decision making strategies. Climate change resilience analysis. Land Development design, construction monitoring, compliance reporting incl. subdivision infrastructure, 3 Waters integration and other utilities.
